Hear ye, hear ye! Sacramento has finally heeded my bitches and moans about their lack of support for mobile food vendors. Now only if they could hear the same thing about the arts community.
Anyway.
What we have here, is our first annual (hopefully) mobile food festival in Sacramento, affectionately titled: SactoMoFo. Squeal. Over a dozen trucks from Sacramento, Yolo county and the Bay Area -in particular one of my favorites, Adobo Hobo- and an equal number of carts and other non-motorized vendors. Bicycle valet parking will be provided for free, and Fremont Park is a block from the 16th Street Light Rail station!
I only hope that foodies, gastronomes and post-op lap band users will show their beautiful faces and bellies to this event that takes place at Fremont Park this Spring.
